This program is based upon John Gottman’s New York Times best-selling book that relates over 30 years of research into what makes intimate relationships successful in an easily accessible and relatable manner.
This 6-hour class will present couples with information for greater understanding and skills that will help them improve friendship and intimacy and resolve conflict in a healthy way.
The class combines teaching & demonstrations with breakout sessions where you & your partner focus on your relationship with each other. Although we encourage questions & comments, you do not need to speak in the workshop if you do not want.
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
- Foster respect, affection & closeness
- Build & share a deeper connection with each other’s inner world
- Keep conflict discussions calm
- Break through & resolve conflict gridlock
- Strengthen & maintain the gains in your relationship
